Turkey Row at Power Rowing Raises $1,150 for Horizons for Homeless
Power Rowers have done it again.
Nearly 50 Power Rowers attended our first ever Thanksgiving Turkey Row, raising a grand total of $1,150 dollars for Horizons for Homeless Children, an organization committed to improving the lives of homeless children throughout Massachusetts. The money will help Horizons as it strives to provide high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.
We're so proud of our Power Rowing family for everything they do, and this was no exception. Two of our members accomplished the impressive feat of rowing an entire marathon – all on their own – in under four hours each. Other members brought their families and friends in and rowed as teams, each person contributing what they could. We all enjoyed some fun movies, smoothies, snacks, and a killer workout, and we achieved something remarkable and meaningful as a community.
Power Rowers, thank you for spending your Thanksgiving with us!
